Matthew first joined NJTEEA before graduating from The College of New Jersey in 1999. With over 25 years of experience in education, he continues to advocate for technology and engineering literacy for all students in New Jersey. He is currently a Director of Instruction at Northern Burlington County Regional School District. He supervises Applied Technology and many other elective areas.

Brooke Garrera |president@njteea.org
Brooke is currently in her 5th year of teaching high school technology and engineering at High Point Regional High school. She received her B.S. in Technology and Engineering Education from The College of New Jersey in 2021, received her M.A. in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education in 2023, and is currently in the process of getting a Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Teacher Education from Texas Tech University. Brooke has loved her time as a member of NJTEEA, and is excited to be involved with the organization at a higher level.

Jess is currently in her 5th year of teaching at Walter T. Bergen Middle School in Bloomingdale, NJ, teaching 5th - 8th grade technology and engineering courses. She received her B.S. in Technology & Engineering Education from TCNJ in 2021, her M.Ed in Technology Education from Pennsylvania Western University in 2023, and a Maker Education Certificate from Rutgers University in 2024. She is currently working toward her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education. She has been a member of NJTEEA since she was an undergraduate student at TCNJ, and has found it to be a great place to collaborate with other educators teaching similar content.

Marissa Dolch |secretary@njteea.org
Marissa is in her 6th year at Memorial Junior School in Hanover Township. At MJS, Marissa teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Technology and Engineering classes. She also is an advisor for Coding Club and Technology Student Association (TSA). Marissa has received her B.S. in Technology and Engineering Education from The College of NJ in 2020 and received her M.Ed from Millersville University in Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in STEM Education in 2022. She has been a member of NJTEEA since she was an undergraduate student at TCNJ.

Treasurer
Brian Drelick |treasurer@njteea.org
Brian has been an NJTEEA member for over 25 years, first as a student at TCNJ, then as a teacher for 14 years, and now the past 10 as STEM
Supervisor at High Point Regional High School. Brian says that serving the association in a variety of roles, including as President in 2008 and now as Treasurer, it has been the most professionally meaningful and impactful decision of his career.
