Future Technology and Engineering Educator Scholarship

Applications and nominations for NJTEEA's Future Technology and Engineering Educator Scholarship are open NOW through August 1st, 2026. For more information, or to apply for the scholarship, please contact the Scholarship Chair, Sherry, at sroses@njteea.org. 

Future Technology and Engineering Educator Scholarship - A $500 scholarship will be presented to a high school senior or a college freshman or sophomore (under 60 credits) majoring in Technology and Engineering Education. A letter of recommendation from a current NJTEEA member must accompany the application.

Please submit the following information to be considered for this scholarship:

1. A brief cover

   • Include the following but not limited too:

     • Name and high school that you are graduating from or college that you are currently attending

     • College that has accepted you into their technological educational studies program

     • Why you should be considered

     • How it will impact your future

2. Copy of your transcripts (High school AND College transcripts if applicable).  They do not need to be official transcripts sent from the school.

3. A letter of recommendation from a current NJTEEA Member in good standing

4. List of 3 references that can be contacted if needed (no more than 1 family member)

   • Include their name, phone number, email address, and relationship to you

Previous applicants should reapply with updated information for the current year.
